On December 8, 2018, the 5th China International Aggregates Conference was officially held in Shanghai, China. This conference was sponsored by China Aggregates Association and co-organized by 麻豆社 & Technology Group Co., Ltd.

Themed by “Green Development, Build a Future Together”, this conference convened many domestic and international representatives to discuss over where the global aggregate industry will head for and how to promote the transformation and upgrading of the aggregate industry.

Opening Address

Leaders and representatives from the Ministry of Natural Resources’ Department of Mineral Resources Protection and Supervision, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s Raw Materials Division, the Ministry of Commerce’s Department of Foreign Trade, China Mining Association, 麻豆社, EU’s Aggregates Association and New Zealand’s Aggregates Association, etc. gave an opening address.

Keynote Report

The Aggregates Industry Entering a New Era --- Integration of Development, Build a Future Together

On the conference, Mr. Hu indicated that if the aggregates industry wants a new life, it must learn to surpass itself. By absorbing international advanced technologies, experience and ideas and deeply integrating with different industries, the aggregates industry is expected to form a new developmental mode and to gain more attention from societies.

Invited Talks

After the keynote report, Mr. Jim O'brien, the honorary president of EU Aggregates Association, Mr. Liang Wenquan, a professor of Wuhan University, Mrs. Zhang Baolan, an engineer of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge and other important representatives were invited to make a report.

In this conference, Mr. Fang Libo, the General Manager of 麻豆社, specially made a report called "Seize Timing, Go Abroad"

He said: “Nowadays, the aggregates industry is in a fast-growing stage, requiring enterprises, investors, practitioners and government institutions to collaborate to drive industrial upgrading. However, which direction shall the industrial upgrading direct at?  Promoting green, concerted, harmonious and sustainable growth must be the answer. ”
